With nearly eight years working in the healthcare industry, Anna Joy Tamayo is proud to be a member of the Travel Nurses, Inc. team. She studied broadcast journalism and Spanish for her undergrad at the University of Memphis and received her MBA from Christian Brothers University. Anna Joy started as a recruiter in August of 2021 but transitioned to the marketing team in January of 2024. She loves living vicariously through our travelers seeing all the content they send in from their assignments.
Like our clinicians, Anna Joy loves to travel. She has visited 9 countries and looks forward to visiting more. In 2016, she had the opportunity to go to the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where she was a reporter for men’s and women’s gymnastics competitions. She and her husband welcomed their first child in May of 2023. Being Floridians, they enjoy visiting the beach and going to Universal Studios. You can find Anna Joy at Target and Costco every weekend.
