Shane Garner, BSN, RN
With over a decade of experience in healthcare, Shane has journeyed through various roles, beginning his healthcare career as an ER nurse at a local Memphis hospital and steadily ascending to his current position as the Director of Nursing for Travel Nurses Inc. Starting as a recruiter with TNI, he learned how valuable matching the right nurse to the right job was. Shane’s passion for healthcare was ignited during his studies at the University of Memphis, where he obtained his BSN degree. He is currently engaged with several organizations and committees in the staffing world, NATHO and AONL.
Outside of healthcare, Shane finds solace and joy in staying active, whether it's hiking, engaging in a competitive match of tennis or pickleball, or hitting the pavement for a run. To keep his mind agile, Shane loves trivia and regularly plays bridge to sharpen up his card skills. At top of his list is traveling to new places and meeting new people. Shane finds bliss in exploring exotic destinations, with Belize, Africa and Australia holding cherished spots on his travel map.
Shane also lost to Dianna Williams in our TNI Ping Pong Tournament. But don’t ask him about it… it’s a sensitive subject.
