Tori Babb
Tori Babb came to Travel Nurses, Inc. in 2017 after graduating from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies. Tori always had an interest in working in the healthcare industry, so she began her time at UT in the kinesiology department. While she loved this program and learned a lot, she soon found out her skill set was much better suited for a communications degree. Joining the Travel Nurses, Inc. team as a recruiter in 2017 was the perfect combination of Tori’s healthcare interests and communication skills. She then became a Lead Recruitment Specialist in 2019 where she not only continued recruiting healthcare professionals, but also got the opportunity to mentor other recruiters on our TNI team. In 2020, Tori began to excel in organizing communication with our facilities and vendors which lead her to the role of Account Manager. She greatly enjoyed learning this side of the industry and getting to advocate for our healthcare professionals in a new way. Tori is now a National Sales Director for Travel Nurses, Inc. As a National Sales Director, Tori gets to combine skill sets from all her previous roles as she manages the recruitment team, our support roles and continues to work closely with our facilities and vendors. Tori has grown such a strong passion for this company and industry over the years and loves that she gets to help people in so many different ways in her current position.
Outside of the workplace, Tori loves to spend time with friends, family and her German hepherd, Chief. Tori is always on the go whether it’s trying a new fitness class, walking in the park with friends, brewery hopping on a sunny Saturday, or traveling all over the U.S. for concerts with her husband. Tori has always said one of the best parts of living in Tennessee is getting to experience all four seasons, but she truly thrives in the summer. Surrounded by many lakes, she enjoys spending much of the summer months on a boat under the sun or traveling to the closest beach for a week. Born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee Tori is an avid sports fan and loves to cheer on the Tennessee Volunteers year-round from football to basketball to baseball and so on. GO VOLS!
