Germantown, Tenn. – June 5, 2024 – Travel Nurses, Inc. has announced their second quarter DAISY Award recipient. Judi Moore, RN from Adamsville, Tennessee received this prestigious award earlier this quarter during an intimate ceremony with her familiy and Travel Nurses, Inc. staff.
The DAISY Award is an international program that recognizes the extraordinary skill and compassionate care provided by nurses. The acronym DAISY stands for “Diseases Attacking the Immune System.” The award criteria typically focuses on compassionate care, patient advocacy, clinical skills, teamwork and leadership.
This is a special award for a traveler to receive because normally, it is presented to nurses with a proven track record at a facility. Travelers are temporarily at facilities and move around frequently, which makes it difficult for them to receive such awards.
Moore’s nomination came from her recruiter at Travel Nurses, Inc. and stated, “Her dedication to her patients is unparalleled. She works extra shifts when they need her, she takes charge, and she doesn’t complain. Her facility began an Employee of the Month program in March 2024, and she is the second winner to be recognized. Her coworkers changed it to say ‘employee of the year.’”
